I had a NC1 tell me that Civil Affairs is a direct convert to Mass Comm and I would not even go to A school. Does that sound right? Would the Navy really rely on giving me OJT or would I have a chance to certify?<br /><br />I have a civilian degree in Journalism and Public Relations, so MC does interest me, but I can assure anyone that Army Civil Affairs is not even close to what MC does. The recruiter also mentioned I would have to come in RC and try to request AC.
