There is no separation of powers that the Constitution demands. Any agreement would still require Congressional approval. This legislation just makes the Congressional approval process easier. Both have indicated that they will vote against it, but the resolution will probably make it through anyway. <br /><br />Obama seems intent on taking as much as he can in last months as the POTUS. I am just afraid that with this kind of power he will screw things up royally for the US. Perhaps even putting us in jeopardy long after he is gone. There is a reason that there are three branches of Government: So that no one branch can be too powerful, and so that the will of the people can be brought into play. Giving the POTUS "Fast Track" trade promotion authority is going far outside of those security measures.
