Is giving POTUS "Fast Track" trade promotion authority another avenue for the Presidential position to circumvent Congress?

Is giving POTUS the authority for Fast Track Trade promotion another way for the Presidential position to circumvent Congress? I would have to say yes and that the President has way too much authority to make "Executive Orders."
I can't wait for 2017 to roll around, maybe our country will have better luck!

This much power needs not to be in the hands of one person. Congress is stupid if they let this stand...

This and administrative law (ABC federal,state and local agencies) is on shaky Constitutional ground in my eyes. There is no separation of powers that the Constitution demands.

This legislation wouldn't allow any President to circumvent Congress. Any agreement would still require Congressional approval. This legislation just makes the Congressional approval process easier.

I wrote to my Representative and my Congressman, begging them to vote no on the "Fast Track" authority authorization. Both have indicated that they will vote against it, but the resolution will probably make it through anyway.

Obama seems intent on taking as much as he can in last months as the POTUS. I am just afraid that with this kind of power he will screw things up royally for the US. Perhaps even putting us in jeopardy long after he is gone. There is a reason that there are three branches of Government: So that no one branch can be too powerful, and so that the will of the people can be brought into play. Giving the POTUS "Fast Track" trade promotion authority is going far outside of those security measures.
