Is having Focal Brain Waves on an EEG disqualifying for the Army, even if you are already in? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/is-having-focal-brain-waves-on-an-eeg-disqualifying-for-the-army-even-if-you-are-already-in <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I’m currently at flight school trying to get an up slip for so I can continue my training. To get my up slip one of the tests I had to get was an EEG which showed I had focal brain waves in my frontal lobe. They think it’s most likely from my concussions as a kid. The neurologist says this is most likely not waiverable. I still have to get some more test done for more info, but I was doing some research and found out it’s also not waiverable for the army in general. So, my question is even if I’m already in the Army will I not only get dropped from flight school but also the army? And is there anything I can do? If you get disqualified from flight, they will likely move you into a field that you will be able to continue serving, unless your condition is disqualifying from the army as a whole. If you joined the Army specifically under a flight program and become ineligible or fail, your contract should state what will become of you if you fail. If you&#39;re already in the Army and fail flight, you get returned to your unit. You won&#39;t be separated from the Army for medical reasons without a med board SFC Private RallyPoint Member Tue, 24 Mar 2020 21:23:42 -0400 2020-03-24T21:23:42-04:00 2020-03-24T19:29:04-04:00
