With spring around the corner I'm seeing a lot of outdoor pizza ovens in stores around here. The decent ones seem to cost around $200 and up. It seems that you would need to make pizza at least weekly to get near break even, and then there's the hassle of preparation. Is it worth it or should I stick with delivery from my favorite pizza place?

I don't think it is worth it. I love pizza but it would take a lot of pizza to buy this down. I just call Papa Johns and see what the deal of the day is and it is usually pretty cheap. Especially with the cost of groceries these days.

I think, every house hold already have a pizza oven, it's your stove oven.

SFC Bernard Walko - My grandmother always used a wood burning stove. My job in the 60's was, to make sure grandmother's firewood never pasted half way.
One day, my father, and his brother, bought grandma a new stove. She never used it as a stove, nor, wanted it plugged in, she used the oven as her pot storage. She did the same thing for her new refrigerator too. Lol
But, she always had good food, ready to eat, all the meat was always fresh.
