It's a 1 year "hardship" tour for AD folks. The units there is aviation, medical (Reserves), MP (National Guard), SF and what is known as ARFOR (Army Forces) which envelops what ever is left. Talk with your Retention NCO. It's not a bad tour. Did 9 months there in 2018. You can request two locations at a time. You can look on FMSweb to see if they are authorized in Honduras. There are very, very few openings for Honduras ever, and even if your MOS is authorized you probably won't get a spot there.
