Is it appropriate to wear ocps during a Memorial Day service?

I was asked to wear my military uniform for a memorial service next weekend. I only have my OCPs with me, is it appropriate to wear those in place of my dress uniform?

Depends on the specifics of the service, but most likely not.
Think of OCPs as Jeans and a t-shirt, maybe jeans and a nice sweater. If that would not be appropriate for the service, then OCPs would not, either.
Most likely, for memorial day, Class B's, at a minimum, Class As preferably. Class As are the equivalent of a suit and tie. Which is what is most likely appropriate for most Memorial Day services.
