Is it authorized to wear OCP attachments on UCP IOTV?

I tried looking for references about the subject but all i could find is mix and matching cold weather gear. Trying to see if it is authorized to wear OCP attachments such as taps, mag pouches on UCP iotv

Commander makes the policy on uniforms.

Answer isn't in an AR, it's up to the Commander.

Up to your commander. Besides, if the Army hasn't given you the new pattern equipment yet, and the old pattern is all you have, then logic would dictate that's what you use.

My understanding is that until the official phase out in 2019, mixing of patterns is allowed.

Sorry, what the hell is UCP? Heard of OCP, ACU, BDU, DBU but not UPC! I thought that was the bar code on items. lol

I've never had anyone say anything to me and I wore black and tan attachments on UCP. Hell, I still used the old fashion alice first aid pouch on my gear. If it works it works.
