Is It Better To Always Be Right Or To Seek Peace? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/is-it-better-to-always-be-right-or-to-seek-peace <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>This is a question that has long bothered me. As I have seen in many discussions by our politicians and even on RP, it seems to be more important to be right and have the "W" than to make concessions or to agree that everyone is entitled to their opinion or (and God forbid this should EVER happen) say "I was wrong and you were right."<br />So, is winning and being right all the time about everything the only thing? I suppose the challenge is defining winning. Winning may be just being understood. Would you rather go around not knowing the truth or hope that someone shuts up because you want peace? No one can make an informed decision without all of the facts. If you don&#39;t have all of the facts, how would it make you feel knowing you may be spreading misinformation? I&#39;ll admit I have been wrong, but what I&#39;ve learned is that I need to read everything and source it, first. Emotions do not belong in fact based debates, no matter what you want to believe.
