We are planning our wedding and getting married once we are both back home. What are some common hardships we will face both being military? Is it difficult being a dual-military couple? 2018-02-08T13:32:54-05:00 PFC Private RallyPoint Member 3335578 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>My fiancé is currently deployed, and I leave for BCT in 12 days. My LT was dual married and in the same unit so when we deployed they shared a living unit and other than regular work separating them it was pretty much business as usual. The hard part comes when, for example, you&#39;re Navy and he&#39;s Army and there are few joint bases for you to go to. No if you bother are reserve/Guard I wouldn’t mind drilling in the same until but if your unit get activated together I wouldn’t recommend both going with the same unit. Being in the military is not like any other job but you can make it work!
