Should I leave one off and go with the marksmanship badge or wear my badges? Is it mandatory to wear your marksmanship badge for a DA photo? 2020-08-26T19:47:32-04:00 1SG Private RallyPoint Member 6248540

I have 5 badges and I’m tight on room on my jacket. Leave off one of the others. I always left out the driver's badge in lieu of the marksmanship badge. Also remember the categories of badges and their wear (i.e. you can't wear a CAB and four CL4 badges). 670-1 lays it all out.

Technically speaking even Officers are supposed to wear them, but there is the unspoken "tradition" that we don't....probably for those who suck at shooting or fail to remember to go to the range....
