Is it more difficult for a soldier with an Intelligence MOS (35 series) to get stationed at Fort Belvoir?

For JR enlisted it is but clearly not impossible. I would recommend not looking for an assignment at Belvoir until at least SGT. You need that tactical time before going to a strategic assignment. If your a 35G it may be easier as NGA is here.

It is much easier to do tactical time at the beginning of your career than when your bones are older at the end of your career.

To answer your question there are slots depending on your MoS (35?) within the Fort Belvoir and outlining units. Like others have noted work tactical then go to a INSCOM unit it is honestly the best advice I received and done myself. Now with that being said if there is certain reasons why you need to move to this area then that’s understandable... for example closer to family due to medical reasons. If you would like advice/mentorship feel free to contact me.
