I am prior service HR(42A) and I am currently waiting on getting my order January, but I received a call from a Department of Defense inspector, to answer question in order to get a background check done and provide with point of contacts as well. You did it on your first enlistment, you filled out the paperwork with the re rating station. It is likely your break in service is short enough that your update will not be challenging, unless of course you have a disqualifying issue. Once you have lived more places and done actual interesting stuff it takes a bit longer and they usually come to ask questions. I’ve always had them come and ask me questions personally.
