<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I don't recall AR 640-30 addressing glasses only that the Soldier ensure compliance with 670-1. 640-30 does defer to 670-1 for all uniform matters. <br /><br />670-1 states that civilian prescription eyeglasses maintain a conservative appearance and are authorized for wear with all uniforms. <br /><br />As civilian prescription eyeglasses are authorized IAW with 670-1 and 640-30 defers to 670-1, you should be good so long as whoever is looking at your photo agrees that the glasses you are wearing have a conservative appearance.<br /><br />See AR 670-1, para 3–10. Eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses at apd.army.mil.

Anymore, I just take them off because I know there&#39;s gonna be a glare. <br /><br />As someone who wears glasses I&#39;d just take them off because the glare is annoying. That&#39;s me.
