Is it ok to wear glasses on DA Photo?

I just had my DA Photo taken and noticed a glare in the photo. Should I get another photo?

I don't recall AR 640-30 addressing glasses only that the Soldier ensure compliance with 670-1. 640-30 does defer to 670-1 for all uniform matters.

670-1 states that civilian prescription eyeglasses maintain a conservative appearance and are authorized for wear with all uniforms.

As civilian prescription eyeglasses are authorized IAW with 670-1 and 640-30 defers to 670-1, you should be good so long as whoever is looking at your photo agrees that the glasses you are wearing have a conservative appearance.

I would. I think every photo I ever take for an ID or even my DA photo they ask me to take them off because of the glare. Anymore, I just take them off because I know there's gonna be a glare.

As someone who wears glasses I'd just take them off because the glare is annoying. That's me.
