As far as Air Force goes, athletic shoes with white socks. No restriction for color.

I would argue that yes you can, as long as you ensure your white socks are camouflaged to look just like your boot socks (and are exactly the same material, too). Then you are good!

CPL Private RallyPoint Member no you should not, for a pretty good reason.

Usually the white socks and boot socks are not made from similar material. What socks will soak up much more sweat and won't correctly allow your feet to breath inside the boot causing more foot problems.

I know what you're thinking.
"Wait, no white socks in uniform is for a real reason?"

But it's true.

This is one that always confused me, if you are going to do a ruck march in boots for PT why not wear the uniform you would wear when you would do a ruck march down range?

I think it's great you're asking the question. However, why are you posting such a question on a social board? You should look up your issues in the regulations. Even further, talk with your supervisor. If any of my troops came to me with this... I'd tell you to go look it up, show me in the regs, and then I'd make you brief the flight. I'm USAF, not army.... Though you should get my point.
