Now 6th SFAB I heard was going to be national guard but I haven't heard if it was finally approved or not. I'm sure someone here in the national guard will have more info on it. I have friends on active that are in SFAB and love it a good career decision for a lot of soldiers.Response by SFC(P) Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 27 at 2019 12:46 PM2019-02-27T12:46:38-05:002019-02-27T12:46:38-05:00MAJ Mark Steskal4922093<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Depending on where you are, you might consider a National Guard SF Company from 19th Group. I auditioned in 2006 with a Guard Company in Ohio, and we had members on the Training Team who traveled as far as 6 hours each way for a 5 drill weekend. It was the hardest job I ever loved, and i consider it to be among my highest achievements. I was stronger than I had ever been and had a mental toughness and confidence greater than after being offered a commission after completing Marine OCS.Response by MAJ Mark Steskal made Aug 16 at 2019 10:37 AM2019-08-16T10:37:31-04:002019-08-16T10:37:31-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member5614984<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You can join one of the BNs out of state.
