Is it possible for an HRC technician to know if a unit has removed a slot/position from its UMR? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/is-it-possible-for-an-hrc-technician-to-know-if-a-unit-has-removed-a-slot-position-from-its-umr

Background: In Jan 2015 I applied for AGR through HRC's website and in May I received an offer for a position. I was initially suppose to report to the unit in August, but throughout the summer and now fall, I've had set backs getting my medical completed; now I'm waiting on dental and PHA before HRC can publish orders. My civilian case manager sometimes acts like she doesn't know the availability of the slot.

Question: She can not tell me if the supposed unit that I'm going to if the slot was filled, removed, or is still vacant. How can that be? If you were unable to report due to the medical issues, they may well have filled the slot with someone else due to PCS. 1SG Private RallyPoint Member Tue, 20 Oct 2015 14:26:13 -0400 2015-10-20T14:26:13-04:00 2015-10-20T13:33:44-04:00
