Is it possible to be under an Army ROTC scholarship and switch to a Marine NROTC scholarship while in college? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/is-it-possible-to-be-under-an-army-rotc-scholarship-and-switch-to-a-marine-nrotc-scholarship-while-in-college

I’m am accepted to VMI, and I applied for the Marine national scholarship but I did not receive it. I hear that the Army has more money to give out for that kind of thing so I’m pursuing it to be able to afford VMI. As per my question I’m just wondering if say my 2nd or 3rd year at VMI, would I be able to switch over branches before I complete schooling and commission under the other branch instead of the Army. No. These scholarships are not transferable. They are part of a commissioning program designed to fill boots for that services officer accessions targets. It's not mix and match.

The Army wouldn't even let me change major, never mind choose another service.
