My Unit is deploying next year and I would like to go but I'm going to OCS next year. It's still unclear whether I'll get to go AOCS or if I'll have to do the traditional program. If I can go accelerated there's a possibility I can be done before they leave but that leaves the question of BOLC. Will I most likely have to sit this one out?

BOLC is basic training and AIT for officers. So no in order for you to deploy as a 2LT you need to be qualified.

Roger that Sir. I thought as much but a SGT I know suggested the idea.

You are not going to deploy w/o BOLC. You'll be assigned to the rear-detachment and continue with your service there until your school date.
