If all else fails, call a different recruiter and talk to them over the phone.Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 26 at 2017 5:52 PM2017-07-26T17:52:07-04:002017-07-26T17:52:07-04:00CPT Private RallyPoint Member2770034

According to AR 601-210, "its possible." As SSG Livingston stated, talk to your awesome recruiter because officers know nothing. The regulations states the following in regards to your situation under 4-7 Major Misconduct subsections a&b (PG 34):

a. The approval authority is the CG, USAREC or Chief, NGB. Applicants will incur a 24-month wait from the date of conviction prior to waiver processing
b. The approval authority for applicants with any two of the following offenses is the CG, USAREC or DARNG: driving under the influence/driving while impaired, possession of marijuana or paraphernalia, or positive drug and alcohol test. (Waiver will not be considered until 2 years from the date of the last offense or date of positive drug and alcohol test, unless other waiting periods throughout this regulation apply.

I hope it helps. Wish you all the best!Response by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 26 at 2017 7:23 PM2017-07-26T19:23:19-04:002017-07-26T19:23:19-04:00CPT Private RallyPoint Member2770207

One more thing, 65A is not an enlisted MOS, it is an officer AOC. You'd need a Master's degree in OT to enter that particular AOC.Response by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 26 at 2017 8:16 PM2017-07-26T20:16:31-04:002017-07-26T20:16:31-04:002017-07-26T17:09:35-04:00
