My last THRU date is 30SEP16, my company shut down and I transferred on 01OCT16. I am PCS&#39;ing 03MAR17, which totals 5 months. Due to reasons, I am being placed in a rear detachment company until I PCS. If my transfer was made effective before 01JAN17, I would have less than the required 90 days in the unit, and then less than the required 90 days in rear detachment before I PCS&#39;ed. Would it be possible to go 5 months without unrated time and report to my new unit without an NCOER? In lieu of a NCOER, you can and should get a memo that states your rater did not have the prescribed amount of time to rate you. I&#39;ve had to do that twice due to PCS timing.
