Would the unit let me leave or try and defer my PME?2017-04-21T16:54:27-04:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member2511811<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Is it possible to have an ALC date during a tour to Korea? These days with the STEP schools are mandatory and units/Army will not keep you from your career progression like in the past.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 21 at 2017 6:35 PM2017-04-21T18:35:15-04:002017-04-21T18:35:15-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member2512519<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Point well takenResponse by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 21 at 2017 10:39 PM2017-04-21T22:39:15-04:002017-04-21T22:39:15-04:001SG Private RallyPoint Member2512815<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>This all depends on you Chain of Command. Not really sure how they have changed or addressed any issues since STEP. Better to check with your schools NCO. If you are there as part of a garrison unit, like 8th Army and others, the it depends on your tour. If you are on a one year (unaccompanied) then you will most likely go en-route to your next duty station. If you are on a two year tour (accompanied) or if you do an IPCOT the. You can interrupt your tour to go and your DEROS will slide to the right.Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 27 at 2017 1:44 PM2017-04-27T13:44:52-04:002017-04-27T13:44:52-04:002017-04-21T16:54:27-04:00
