PFC Private RallyPoint Member 3507091 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I’ve taken two APFTS within a ten month period and soon to be taking the final this weekend. I have been working out a lot but no matter how hard I try I failed both of them. I really wish to stay in the Army but I wonder is it possible to re-enlist after being discharged and how long would it take? I really want to be back as soon as possible even after I am discharged Is it possible to re-enlist after failing a final APFT test? If discharged, how long would it take? 2018-04-02T21:33:34-04:00 PFC Private RallyPoint Member 3507091 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I’ve taken two APFTS within a ten month period and soon to be taking the final this weekend. Much harder. You are assuming that you will fail the upcoming test this weekend. That is the wrong attitude. This is Monday. Work on the areas that you are weak in. The solution to your problem is to show guts and determination and pass the test this weekend. No excuses.<br /><br />To re-enter the service, you would probably need a waiver. Talk to a recruiter, but wait, you are going to pass this test. Provide us with an update on Monday, letting us know that you have passed, and will not fail any more PT tests.<br /><br /><a target="_blank" href="https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=">https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=</a> [login to see] 5527AA9MCwN <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-default"> <div class="pta-link-card-picture"> </div> <div class="pta-link-card-content"> <p class="pta-link-card-title"> <a target="blank" href="https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20111213095527AA9MCwN">index</a> </p> <p class="pta-link-card-description"></p> </div> <div class="clearfix"></div> </div> Response by Sgt Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 2 at 2018 11:08 PM 2018-04-02T23:08:09-04:00 2018-04-02T23:08:09-04:00 SFC Private RallyPoint Member 3507420 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Work on passing the APFT. But I&#39;m guessing that you can buckle down and pass the test. Let us know what events are causing the issue, what you score in those events are and what you did to get ready for it and people here can point out what to change. Why should they/we take you back if you can&#39;t meet the standards? What can you bring to the table to offset the $250k+ that we spend on your training? Think on it, and pass the blasted test. Or was the last one a diagnostic? When was the last APFT you took that you failed? Are you taking some diagnostic ones to see where you&#39;re at? What are you failing? Are your NCOs helping you at all? I am guessing you are under 25? You should have energy for days. Has your chain been working with you on extra PT?
