Is it possible to reclassify (change MOS) into the Army as a prior service Marine of the E6 type?

I'd go talk to a recruiter, hard to find one that's willing to do paperwork for more than a fresh recruit (took me about 4 recruiting stations to find one). I believe the business rules state that they aren't taking any prior service E-6's and the only way to reclassify from an MOS is if your current/previous MOS isn't accepting any. So more or less depends on if you're willing to lose the rocker and what MOS's are currently available and you're willing to take at the time you go to talk with them. Good luck brotha.

Yes, I had a buddy that did, go talk to an Army recruiter, they will know or find the path for you.

I've seen plenty of guys go other services to the Army. Especially in the Guard. The one thing you may face is having to take a demotion because you're crossing over from another service.

I've seen an E-5 Marine go through training with soldiers to wrench on Crashhawks.
