Is it possible to transfer from Fort Stewart to Hunter Army Airfield? Is the only way calling HRC?

You can try for an inter post transfer. Although, you will not get any additional money to move to the Savannah area if you choose to. But, your CoC has to bless off on it and there needs to be an open slot for your MOS.

You can reenlist for a spot, but the units that are not 3ID CAB are very small and have very few medic spots. You can get an inter post transfer if there is an open requisition and strengths support it, but division will probably keep those moves for personnel who are reenlisting.

I can be difficult to get transferred without a good reason. Hunter as everyone knows is a better duty station. The command knows this also. So to try to get a transfer out of Stewary to Hunter for no just cause will be pretty hard to do.....

That’d take a act of Odin. Almost impossible unless you re-up for it. 68Ws are needed at every base so you’d have that going for you.

From my time at Stewart, it took an act of god to get any sort of inter post transfer. The downside to what you are wanting is the fact that a move between Stewart to Hunter is not considered an interpost transfer similar to if you were transferred to TF 1-28 at Benning. You have to realize that hunter is predominately 75th and 160th so and there are only about a 4th of the slots for medics there.

The best way would be to reenlist for it and the time on station requirement is 3 years, like every CONUS Duty station
