Is it practical or even possible for me to take the SIFT while deployed? If so, what are the requirements for testing?

I'm currently down range putting together a flight packet, with support from my platoon leadership and CO. Is it practical or even possible for me to take the SIFT while deployed? If so, what are the requirements for testing? There seems to be precious few official resources regarding the test online.

I believe it has to be taken at an education center. I am not sure if those amenities are available to you there or if there are alternatives for your circumstance. Worst case scenario, you can study until you return and crush it.

It has to be taken at a DOD testing center. If I remember correctly, Kuwait had one. But if you aren't able to get to Kuwait, or maybe Qatar, it won't be possible

Once deployed you have to wait until your deployment is over
