Assuming they are both 60 or over, it will be a record pass. (Lots of times, they score the skipped event as a 60, which is incorrect - there is no score for it. But that&#39;s really not an issue you need to care about)/ COL Vincent Stoneking Thu, 11 Jan 2018 09:38:19 -0500 2018-01-11T09:38:19-05:00 Response by SGT Frank Pritchett made Jan 11 at 2018 10:18 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/is-it-true-that-you-can-t-take-a-record-pt-test-if-you-are-on-profile-with-a-stipulation-you-can-t-do-the-push-up-event?n=3246462&urlhash=3246462 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If you did then you would violate your profile and if the injury re-occurred then you could be subject to the UCMJ for failure to comply with Surgeon Generals Orders of not complying with regulations not to mention that you could have to your own expenses on medical bills. what you could do is to contact a JAG Officer for correct clarification. the whole point of the Profile is to allow you to heal in reasonable time and return to duty. If your profile is more than 90 days you can take a record subject to your profile restrictions, you just miss out on the pushup event. Best way forward if you are flagged and trying to get off the flag, tell your doctor and have him recommend either reducing your profile if or extending it to the 90 days, or just telling you to suck it up until your wrist heals and stop failing PT tests in the first place, if that is the case. With the new profile format your medical provider can authorize a record APFT while on temporary. It will be check marked on the form. Just make sure the temporary and permanent sections are filled in to accurately reflect what you can and cannot do if they both apply. Weird I know. Went to the doc twice to clear it up. A bad NCO would try and force you to do it but stay within the guidelines of your profile. I was removed off the C-10 roster for refusing to take a Record Pt Test after six months of surgery for major neck surgery; my 1st SG submitted me for an A-15 two weeks prior to my medical discharge. This is how far a unit will go. Read the conditions of your profile and pay attention to the coding of your ERB.
