My husband has had shoulder issues for quite some time. Before deployment last year, he was undergoing extreme pain in his right and left shoulders. After MRI's and xrays, they found a tumor in his right shoulder and "NOTHING" wrong with the left. They removed the tumor since and he just finished his 6 month recovery. Hes been on profile for over 200 days now. Hes still having pain, so they did another MRI, thinking the tumor wasnt fully removed or another is coming in. The results declared that his muscle is torn in his right shoulder. They have sent him to physical therapy, which didn't help. Hes also gone in to physical medicine and they won't give him anything strong enough to help. The doctors have told him that he should be preparing himself because his military career is over and they refuse to do anything about the torn muscle. Is there any other steps to take to possibly get a second opinion? Hes extremely upset, and would like to continue his career and change his MOS to something he enjoys more.
