<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am currently considering officer school as well as going back to school for a master’s degree. I am curious if there is a way to combine the two in two birds, one stone way. Has anyone ever done so? <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yes you can pursue a master’s degree via ROTC. Contact the Recruiting and Enrollment Officer at the school you wish to attend.1LT Private RallyPoint MemberSun, 07 Jun 2020 17:25:22 -04002020-06-07T17:25:22-04:00Response by Alec Roman made Jun 7 at 2020 5:28 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yes and I saw two examples with this past commissioning class. Had a friend start rotc freshman year and completed a fast race masters degree in accounting in 4 years while in rotc. Had another fraternity brother that already had his 4 year and came to our university to do his masters (joined the MS-3 or junior class and graduated with them the following year)Alec RomanSun, 07 Jun 2020 17:28:31 -04002020-06-07T17:28:31-04:00Response by Maj William W. <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>A few of the people in my commissioning class were graduate students. It’s possibly. Like LT Ford stated, contact the recruiting officer at your university and they’ll guide you through the process.1LT Kevin ChapmanSun, 07 Jun 2020 18:11:29 -04002020-06-07T18:11:29-04:00Response by LTC Jason Mackay made Jun 7 at 2020 7:52 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yes you can! I have one piece of advice for you though. Take advantage of that time as you’ve already met all academic requirements, except the MS classes. Focus on PT, Land NAV, and TLPs. You don’t have to earn your Masters while you’re enrolled, but you have to remain full time. Good luck!CPT Private RallyPoint MemberMon, 08 Jun 2020 00:17:48 -04002020-06-08T00:17:48-04:00Response by COL Jon Thompson made Jun 8 at 2020 5:52 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yes, you can do a 2-year ROTC Masters program. There are actually 2-year scholarships available for Soldiers to earn. The caveat is that the Army will commission upon completion of the ROTC curriculum whether or not you complete your Masters. That is because the commissioning requirement is a Bachelor's degree. You also need to be enrolled at a school that has an ROTC program or is affiliated with one.COL Jon ThompsonMon, 08 Jun 2020 17:52:31 -04002020-06-08T17:52:31-04:002020-06-07T17:23:16-04:00
