Now that the FBI has come clean and confirmed that it was indeed investigating the Trump campaign since July 2016 I am very curious at how this is being investigated. I feel Russia's agenda was more targeted at making sure Clinton didn't get elected than to get Trump elected as Wikileaks has been rather outspoken and critical about Clinton's political policies since 2010.

You lost me on the part where you stated ....making sure Clinton didn't get elected. The entire establishment was set up to elect Clinton. The DNC even set up a fake election just to nominate her. Why in the world would the Russians want a Trump-like candidate to win?

LTC (Join to see) in Part 1 of the Podesta Emails leaked there were 2,060 emails and 170 attachments and focused on Mr Podesta's communications relating to nuclear energy, and media handling over donations to the Clinton Foundation from mining and nuclear interests; 1,244 of the emails reference nuclear energy. The full collection includes emails to and from Hillary Clinton. Russia got 20% of our uranium as well was able to attack her in how the profited from it despite all the strategic concerns of the deal. They got the yellow cake and while Hillary just got cake in the face.

SPC David S. - The Clinton Global Initiative, which I believe is now closed, received a large sum of money from the Russians near the time of the uranium deal. I do not think for a moment the Russians were only interested in this one issue with Mrs. Clinton.

SP5 Christine Conley - I don't see how Russia did not want anyone but Mrs. Clinton as our next President. They gained a strategic advantage in resources with Clinton. Obama did absolutely nothing to them for Ukraine and Syria. Plus the US gave their partner in the Middle East money and time for a nuclear program with no sanctions. I just don't see a scenario where the Russians would want an unknown figure like Trump in the White House when they have known the Clinton's for decades. Plus the Russians know the Clinton's history with the Chinese and understand that the Clinton's care about one thing, money over country.
