Even our Furry Veterans should expect that much. We can find something and someplace for them. While I think we should, and can, bring them home, at the end of the day they are animals. Maybe, just maybe, we should be focusing on the human veterans in trouble and stop getting wrapped around the axle with PC feel good BS...but I will end repeating we should and can, bring them home. I have a 90lb furball laying on my feet keeping them warm as I type this and I know how strong the bond between a "boy and his dog" can be.

However, I think it's a bit too far to call them "soldiers" or "furry veterans". The least we can do is to bring them back home and allow a loving home to adopt them. Even best, train them as service dog for veterans , and once again spending their peaceful life with the men that they will die for.
