I was wondering if I would have a better shot of getting my waiver approved in the national guardIs the waiver process for the Army National Guard easier than active duty?2019-01-07T18:38:21-05:00PVT Private RallyPoint Member4267436<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I need a waiver for stress fractures that occurred in basic . You could go to any branch and the waiver process would be essentially the same. It is not the branch that defines this but rather Department of Defense.Response by SSG Brian G. made Jan 7 at 2019 7:00 PM2019-01-07T19:00:06-05:002019-01-07T19:00:06-05:00SGT Joseph Gunderson4267700<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You have an RE-3, the possibility of you being allowed to reenlist is nearly infinitesimal. I advise you quit pouring energy into this pipedream and find a new career.Response by SGT Joseph Gunderson made Jan 7 at 2019 9:09 PM2019-01-07T21:09:03-05:002019-01-07T21:09:03-05:00SGT Eric Davis4268047<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yes you can try but since yours is medical then it will be hard either way but the guard can do things active/reserves can’t do. Trust me I know. The recode would of been easy but medical makes it kind of hard.Response by SGT Eric Davis made Jan 8 at 2019 12:16 AM2019-01-08T00:16:47-05:002019-01-08T00:16:47-05:00PVT Private RallyPoint Member4365918<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If any one with similar medical issue , just got my waiver granted .
