CPT(P) Private RallyPoint Member 3441245

Is the word "battalion's" supposed to be capitalized? Bullet example:

o lead 13 vehicle recovery missions employing the battalion's principle recovery asset, resulting in zero casualties or safety incidents...

I don't think it should be, and haven't found anything supporting that it should be in AR 25-50. Is the word "battalion's" supposed to be capitalized in an evaluation in the following context? 2018-03-12T21:06:44-04:00 CPT(P) Private RallyPoint Member 3441245

Is the word "battalion's" supposed to be capitalized? I think they are limited to Soldier, Veteran and Dependent. If you are talking about multiple battalions - it's just like I wrote it. Apostrophe s is for a possessive or a contraction. Battalion, company, platoon, etc. used alone are not treated as proper nouns requiring capitalization yet I've had my share of commanders and CSMs that said otherwise out of personal preference. I've seen HRC accept both as long as it was consistent across the evaluation. According to standard English, they are not capitalized.
