Im not here to gripe or complain, more to look for a constructive way to solve a problem. Im very tired with my current branch (Currently an ADA 1LT). Ive met alot of great people in ADA and learned alot both personally and professionally but so much about the branch from its mission to how it is run is the exact opposite of what im looking for in a career. Ive heard lots of rumors, and read lots of MILPER messages, but i can't seem to get a streight answer. I wouldnet mind giving up rank (going enlisted or warrent if that is an option), pay, or extending my contract. I have looked into the VTIP program and i am not yet eligible, i have alot looked into a simple PCS (still not eligible). The only other things i have heard about is a flight warrent packet or finding some way to resign my comission and come in as enlisted.
To sum it up, does anyone know any way besides the VTIP process (OR SF board, tried that too) to change branches?

There are a few options. You can look into the Special Operations world. CA and SF are something that you have to branch transfer to get into. You have to be selected but once you are you will be rebranched.

I appreciate e the response. I've already tried that route and unfortunately was not selected for any special operations branches

I did not realize that. You are pretty much stuck. The Army really doesn't care we want unfortunately. Your best hope is to ask for an early out and reclass as a guardsmen or reservist. If you really dont like it you can resign your commission like said elsewhere.

I had 3 different MOS from different enlistments. 11H, 31U, and 14J ADA was my least favorite of all. I would rather Hump 20 miles with raw thighs and blistered feet than to have spent a day in ADA the only thing I enjoyed about it was that the unit was airborne and I got to jump.
