Is there a college credit requirement for reclassifying to become a recruiter?

Hi , so my husband is wanting reclass into recruiting. I was helping look over the packet and he seemed to have all his qualifications lined up. Due to covid-19 and the base restrictions he hasn't been able to get ahold of anyone to ask about something we saw online. So multiple sources online say he has to have so many college credits for this MOS. I've never heard of this , nobody I know has , it isn't in the packet either. But, it would be our luck there would be some kind of unlisted requirement so I was wondering if any recruiters could confirm or deny this?

There is no college requirement. He must successfully serve a tour on recruiting duty before he can request to reclass to a recruiter.

You do not need the college credit to reclass to 79R. However, you have to complete the volunteer tour first.

I’m a retired Recruiter and back when I was in there were no college credit requirements. If it changed recently I don’t know.
