Is there a difference (GOPvsDNC) anymore or is it just a smokescreen to keep us distracted while they rob us all of our freedoms & finances?

I have had a few discussions go south because I dislike one group of crooks more than the other, and honestly, I can't see how these two parties are different at all. Neither of them have done a thing for the good of the average American in my lifetime, yet we are fiercely loyal to hating one whether we actually agree with the other or not. Should we as a nation vote both parties out & start over?

I have been around for a few years, quite a few actually). If our country has gone backwards as much as I have seen and heard we are not a 3rd rate country. We would be lower than that.

This is a question that will never find an answer. Let us say we do as you suggest and try to vote them all out.
1. How would any new challenger find the funds to run for office?
2. Would shutting down the Democrat party and the GOP only result in voters simply finding a "new" party with the same ideology? Thus, same game, different names.

Sorry, but the only way to make any changes at all is to be involved in the system.
By the way, even with all the warts, I still believe we have the best system in the world.

I think hate is a pretty strong word for most people. I don't hate the Democratic Party, or Democrats in general. I just don't agree with most things they stand for. Now there are the crazies out there that actually hate, but I don't think it's a large percentage of people. The media would have you think otherwise, but it's the media, what do you expect?

Democrats are not Telling me to be prejudice against LGBT Americans. Democrats are not Telling me that the Mexicans that provide most of the services in the Metro Kansas City are Rapist, Murderers & Criminals. Democrats are not telling me that my Fellow "Muslim" Security Officers are a threat. No I'm fine with the Democratic Party, now that other one that used to be somewhat inclusive I have my doubts about now. You know the one that is stuck on permanent, Hate, Fear, Jealousy and some Bizarre Religious Fundamentalism (They keep telling me they're Christians but I have very serious doubts about that too).

There is no difference other than name. Both are chocked full of liars, cheats, should be inmates, the absolute worst of the worst America could push out, and we vote for them time and time again. Neither party cares, or is worried about us common folk.

I feel that part of the problem is too many are stuck on a single issue, so they focus on the ideology that parallels that issue, without really paying attention to the other issues that ideology carries. Couple that with no one wants to be wrong or shunned by a specific community they identify with, we get ideological warfare.

There is a difference. Most of these politicians are RINOS and DINOS. If one is truly educated on platform views they can tell the difference in the person.

Sadly, not much difference, not much at all. Both parties have been guilty of spending all the money there is as well as all of our credit and our children's credit to fund programs and projects that have no lawful basis, are only useful in buying votes. There are other parties lurking on the sidelines but they are of no consequence. Even if the GOP and the DNC were to dissolve in the mists and the others were to rise to prominence, they too would fall victim to the same forces that drove the GOP and the DNC to ruin. They would be representing the very same constituency, We the People who voted to elect and reelect the fools that now occupy the establishments of the major parties. What hope would they have of avoiding the same fate unless they replaced the entire population of the U.S. with Martians?

The way I see it both sides are willing to send someone else's kids to war but don't have the courage to get their own hands dirty.
How can someone say they support the troops but we're always at a constant battle with Congress/DOD over our benefits like Tri Care, BAH, Retirement Plan, etc.? Not to mention the first solution they offer is for us to fight someone else's fight. If these countries want freedom then they should be willing to fight for it just like America has for the last 240 years with 222 of those years we've been having conflicts.

They all passed Obama Care and we see how good that went. They all have a better retirement plan than any of us "We the People", the ones they serve. They all become so much more wealthy while in office. We got a donkey president and look how he's changed America. We've got long nosed Congress, and look how they supported all this change, and not for the better. One difference I do see is all the violence created at GOP campaign rallies while at the DEM rallies GOP mostly respects the free speech and how people think. Other than that - we need some new parties who are Americans first and not doing it for the money.

Our country fell into a two party system. This unfortunately leads to one party will always take the opposing view of the the other party. We need to get at least another party more would be better to make a it into our political system. This would break up this opposing log jam.
Also people don't realize that the Republican and Democratic parties are private organizations. They have a power core moving what agenda they want done. While the vast majority party member are really sheep following this agenda.

Well I believe the fundamental differences still apply, but the parties no longer represent the people they claim to. So in that way the parties are the same as they are more concerned with the growth and benefit of their own party than the people they claim to represent.

I believe that they are both about the same now. Except when it comes to protecting our Constitution. The GOP wants to protect our Constitution, while the DNC wants to change it into something far away from what our founding Fathers wanted for this country. Our Founding Fathers were a very smart group of people. Look what their ideas have produced. No other nation on the face of this Earth is like ours. All of this in such a short period of time. And they, DNC, wants to through that away. Why?
