I think of "A Few Good Men" with Tom Cruise. It really bothered me how his character was so flippant when addressing senior officers. And don't get me started on "Gomer Pyle, USMC".

Literally every single TV show. They always show Army guys with beards and their hats pulled down way too far, in ACUs with the mandarin collar up, wearing headgear indoors, or none outside, saluting the wrong people incorrectly...and God forbid they're wearing a beret in the show.

Take reason for that is a must they are active duty military they are not permitted to wear a military uniform that is 100% accurate they have to do something different either put the rank upside down or put the medals on the wrong side.

Countless films and TV shows "rub me the wrong way" (putting it mildly). The vast majority portray the military as knuckle dragging miscreants charging in to screw up everything while the "hero" (neuterless) circumvents them to save the day. And don't get me started on "atomic hand grenades"...

Good morning, CPT Durish, sir. I totally agree with the "atomic hand grenade" as well as the "neverending ammo".
