Is there a policy on sleep before airborne operations? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/is-there-a-policy-on-sleep-before-airborne-operations

I have IMC scheduled one afternoon, the jump the next afternoon, and in between is a detail that starts at 2130, and I'd imagine it goes all night. I've been told I do have to go to PT at 0600 the morning of IMC.
This seems unsafe, to me, and I've been told when jumping in TRADOC that there was such a policy, but I'm not sure if it's Army-wide. Look man the big issue it seems to me is you are concern only about your own personal comfort. You join the army son, you are going to be expected to work for long periods without sleep. What do you think your timeline will be like if you ever have to make a combat jump. You think the men of easy company had it any better. Sometimes shit will suck, but you suck it up and drive on. I have done numerous watches, CQ and whatever else and had to go to training or on a mission that next morning that is just what it is. If it was a safety issue is could have come up in a risk assessment. If you feel it is a true concern you should bring it up to your COC not a social media site. I could go on with this but I’m sure others will add to it. Your infantry and airborne act like it go hard, sleep is a crutch and what ever else moto shit you need to go on.
