When it’s time for your record test, you won’t have any issues. Unless you are a failure on the last one. Then it is 90 days. F-5. k.
k. Soldiers must take a record APFT every 6 months for RA and AGR Soldiers,....
l. (1) Commanders may administer the APFT as often as they wish; however, they must specify beforehand when the
APFT is for record. RA and AGR Soldiers will take a record APFT twice each calendar year,.... A minimum of 4 months will separate record tests for RA and AGR. The 4-
month rule does not apply to Soldiers that must make-up a record test or re-testing for an APFT failure. After the record, you shouldnt have to take another record for 6 months. However, the commander can approve you take a PT damn near whenever they say. But Ive never seen it more than once a month unless its an APFT failure.
