SPC Private RallyPoint Member 5523971 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am getting out medically. I have secured a civilian job, however I have cleared everything except for company and battalion and I have been waiting 3 months. I thought there was some regulation out there, that if you were to secure a job outside the military they could expedite your process and not hold you in service past a certain amount of days. Is there a regulation that the Army can send you home early if you secure a civilian job? 2020-02-05T18:00:19-05:00 SPC Private RallyPoint Member 5523971 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am getting out medically. Because, if you are getting out under a medical discharge, that is completely different than getting out because of a job. If you cleared everything but the unit, do you have orders in hand? I ask because I was always with the understanding that a SM cannot start clearing until ETS orders are in hand. The MEB time line is dictated by law and DOD guidelines. Nothing can expedite, or slow down, the process when it&#39;s a med board Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 5 at 2020 10:09 PM 2020-02-05T22:09:29-05:00 2020-02-05T22:09:29-05:00 SFC Private RallyPoint Member 5525110 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I’m not understanding why you would be allowed to clear everything if you have no orders. What official documentation do you have that allowed you to clear? Just trying to understand what authority do you have to clear and what type of paperwork have you received officially informing you that you’re getting separated.<br /><br />If you are not ETSing there isn’t a regulation that would allow you to separate early.
