Our previous commander said to prepare for the ACFT, we’re only required one APFT this FY unless we need one for schools or packets. Is there a specific memo, change to regulation or something that addresses this? I looked and can’t seem to find anything

To my knowledge active duty will take two diagnostic ACFTs in FY20 and the National Guard/Reserve will take one.

Sorry about that, I misread your original question HQDA EXORD 219-18 FRAGO 8 is the most recent information, although all the FRAGOs have this in them in one form or another.
