Is there a timeframe that would give me a better chance of getting 68A (which is not currently available for E5) for an AF to Army transfer?

When my Conditional Release is approved, I'll have 180 days to be in the Army. I only want 68A. If I can't get it, I'm not switching.

Is there a timeframe that would give me a better chance of getting it?

Be prepared to not switch and just keep your eye open for when the MOS does open to E-5s.
