To my knowledge you can not go while on a temp profile. However, if you just worried about cranking out a TON of sit ups while there, it will likely not happen. I am about 90% certain the only sit ups I did was during the APFT. I would recommend either getting on a permanent profile if applicable. Otherwise your life Kay be out of luck at the current time. Look up the course you’re interested in, in ATTRS . Look at the prereqs there, look at the requirements there. If you are not excluded by what you see in txt, send an email to the POC listed and ask the direct question, leave no doubt at what you’re asking. Fewer words are better and ask only the one question. Be brief, concise, clear and complete. Wait semi patiently for a response, if you don't get one in 7-10 business days, send the same email again....if you don't get a response inside a week, call, try to "find" the POC already emailed, and thanking them for their time and apologizing for having what must be the wrong email address, as you had sent the question twice.. You want that person or another associate to help, so now is not the time to chastise for not responding to your email.

All that said.... a lot of years sending folks to school, several years running the 1CD schools program ..... Physical profiles
a. Profiles. Soldiers with medical profiles due to operational deployment will be permitted by their immediate commanders to attend appropriate courses (to include PME) within the guidelines of their profile. Soldiers must arrive at the aforementioned courses of instruction with a copy of their current profile and a memorandum signed by their commander stating the profile is a result of injuries sustained due to operational deployment.
b. Soldiers with temporary profiles that are not a result of operational deployment and prevent full participation in a course will be removed or deferred from school attendance consideration by their immediate commander until the temporary profile is removed.
c. Soldiers with a permanent designator of “2” in the physical profile must include a copy of DA Form 3349 (Physical Profile) as part of the course application. They will be eligible to attend courses (to include PME) and train within the limits of their profile provided they can meet course graduation requirements. Soldiers with a permanent designator of “3” or “4” in their physical profile must include a copy of DA Form 3349 and the results of their MOS Administrative Retention Review as part of the course application.
d. Soldiers who have been before an MOS Administrative Retention Review and retained in their MOS or reclassified into another MOS are eligible to attend appropriate courses (to include PME) and train within the limits of their physical profile (DA Form 3349). Since at least 2012 you haven't been able to go on a temporary profile. They didn't even start doing the APFT until like 2013 or 2014.
