Private RallyPoint Member 4656657 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I&#39;ve been assigned to the Herd. Currently in hold for Airborne school. I really was trying to get something in the 82nd considering my wife is pregnant and logistically speaking, would be better to keep her and myself here in the states. Any suggestions? Is there a way to have my first duty station changed? (SWAPS/ Permissive reassignment etc)? 2019-05-21T18:24:15-04:00 Private RallyPoint Member 4656657 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I&#39;ve been assigned to the Herd. Give it a try tho. Swaps aren&#39;t usually entertained except in the case of AIT students. They&#39;re almost unheard of these days. If there is not a good reason as to why you need to be reassigned it won’t happen because you are assigned based upon the needs of the Army. I totally understand about moving while pregnant, however the Military assigned you to a location that you where needed, not what’s convenient to you (no disrespect intended).
