I get it that almost everyone gripes about the military health care system. I am one of those gripers. My question is: Is there a way to obtain additional health insurance while in the military. I think I'd want a whole new policy separate from TRICARE. I would also be interested if there was some type of add on, as well. I'm realizing that I'm starting to spend quite a bit out of pocket to help get the relief I need. I've always been covered by parents or employers, so I really do not know how health insurance works.
