I am sure you can walk away at any point before you leave for basic. I also dont think it would be considered reclassing being that you arent a Soldier yet. Lastly, dont become a 31B. Find a job that will benefit you in the future and give you the tools to be successful (coming from a former 31B). You should look into as soon as possible to make changes in your career and any bonus&#39; that my be available. I was able to change my initiate MOS without issue before I went to basic training.
