Sorry, I might not have expanded enough on the question. We are working on our security clearance process for the clinic, and part of that deals with whether or not we need to perform additional checks for those who see children. I was under the understanding that Active Duty Military were considered mandatory reporters of child abuse, but was looking for something on paper to verify/clarify that assumption.

TSgt David Holman - Ahh, ok, I might suggest a slight change of wording, "I was under the impression that active duty medical centers were considering mandatory reporting of child abuse" I think you might get better response to your question, because the way you worded it is very confusing to me at the least. As for your basic question itself, while I certainly do not know the answer myself (however I believe they do call the MP's automaticly in this case) I might suggest you call your hospital legal dept and get their guidelines and proceed from that point.
