I don&#39;t know what a &quot;Field Illumination Crewman&quot; is, but 29E (Electronic Warfare Specialist) was rebranded as 17E (Also Electronic Warfare Specialist) at the beginning of FY19. If you&#39;re asking about EW, then as far as I know, there is not an ALC; ALC is included in the Basic Course. When I graduated the course in 2014 there was a MILPER message that covered this. I will try and find my copy of it, and see if there&#39;s an updated copy. Standby.

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>There is no ALC for 17E’s as of yet. I’m pretty sure they are going to roll one out once they start including IET soldiers into the mix. ALC is technically rolled up into the basic course. In order to receive ‘constructive credit’ and be ALC qualified, you just have to graduate the course and complete SSD II. I went through the same struggle coming up. I suggest you get in while the getting is good before ALC is made official.
