Is there an appeal process or another avenue for my Warrant Officer medical wavier being denied? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/is-there-an-appeal-process-or-another-avenue-for-my-warrant-officer-medical-wavier-being-denied <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Hello, I recently got back my disposition on my medical wavier from USAREC G3 medical officer, as denied due to “currently prescribed ADHD medication”. The question I have is about what to due if I haven’t been prescribed this medication for over 5 months Plus and have been doing great. I do understand that I need a wavier due to the fact that I was diagnosed with ADHD in the past while in the military. Is there a process for appeals or another avenue for resubmission showing the proper documentation that I’m currently not taking this medication? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. All I did was go to the behavioral health clinic and have them write a memorandum stating I had not been on medication and they do not recommend further dosages. I believe you can do the same thing. Then re-submit the request. This way you get it straight from the source. The two main BS diagnoses in the Army are Adult ADHD and adjustment disorder..followed by Borderline Personality disorder. Anyway they wouldn&#39;t want you to have symptoms while in the bird..can be very expensive.. they may view non medicating as non compliance for 2 years... I would become an expert on Adult ADHD and a junior Pharmacist regarding your meds.. then contact JAG or civilian Counsel.. Just be lucky they didn&#39;t give you the boot after the diagnosis... then move forward... CPL Gary Pifer Sun, 05 Jan 2020 02:45:55 -0500 2020-01-05T02:45:55-05:00 2020-01-04T17:29:44-05:00
